Re: International Lighthouse Game Part XXXXV - 07/17/03 05:11 AM

Sorry bodielight, those two have already been posted. If you want to try to play you'll have to do a "search" under Lighthouse Games to see if the one you have in mind has been used. That doesn't always work though, due to some lights having been posted, or not posted using the light's native language which may include accent marks. The first letter of the next light posted must begin with the last letter in any of the words in the previous posted lighthouse. The next lighthouse posted must begin with a C, L, N or T. Also the rule is one lighthouse posted per day per person. Another "unwritten rule" is that the posted lighthouse must include a photo link of the light.

I'd like to jump in on this, suggestions on how to search so I can develop the list? This sounds like just the game I need on those cold Wisconsin summer nights smile

Sue, I am waiting for you to let us know about Cabo Frio....it is not on my list.

Great trip...come go with me next summer.

Re: International Lighthouse Game Part XXXXV - 07/20/03 01:50 AM

I received an email from Sue explaining that while I was welcome to play, that I should be able to not only give the next one, but then should also know the one after that, just in case a newbie was to stick a double vowel to stump the crowd. laugh

So if I am to assume that the answer, while incredibly thoughtless, was correct, I will move on with OUDEN DOEL, Belgium.

I can find plenty of references, but no pictures.

I know I have been away from the game a long time. Surely this one has been posted, but I did not find it on my list, which I have tried to keep updated. Be gentle Sue when you buzz the buzzer.

Re: International Lighthouse Game Part XXXXV - 10/26/03 02:00 AM

No buzzer Derith! With no posts here in so long I'd put the list away and had to dig it out. Didn't even do an update the last two months as there were hardly any lights to count.

Nothing in almost a month. After all this time, have you run out of energy? Or lighthouses?

Re: International Lighthouse Game Part XXXXV - 11/29/03 02:44 AM

I've still got lighthouses but I think we're just kind of sick of doing this John. It has been a while....
