There is limited public access now allowing two lighthouse orgs a annual trip BUT YOU CAN"T BRING YOUR CAMERA!

For someone who worked with Merle Wiggins in putting the rocks around the lighthouse to delay the erosion {many years ago}, I can only hope for the BEST!

Plum island is a high security site where the US does testing and development of chemical weapons, animal diseases and similar activities. Thus they limit the of use of photographic and video equipment on the island -- including camera phones, I'm sure.
