Florida Lighthouse Association Raffle

April 20-30 the Florida Lighthouse Association will have a booth at the Central Florida Fair in Orlando. We will have a few items to raffle.

The first is the Pensacola Haunted Tour for you and your family - The normal tour includes the bottom floor of the keepers house since the army has offices on the top floor, HOWEVER, it is the second floor that has the blood stain from the keeper kill there. The stain was cleaned up after the murder, but reappeared, this happen many times. The stain is still there. The winner of this tour will get to go to the second floor and see this blood stain. In addition, the normal tour hours are from 12:00 to 4:00 on Sunday, the winner of this tour with a 2 week notice, will get to come any day of the week. The tour also includes climbing the tower (must be at least age 6). Tour must be taken by October of this year. VALUE - Priceless

Romantic Tour - St. Augustine Lighthouse, you and your lover will get to climb the tower to see the sunset and moon rise on the full moon of the month. Includes a Champagne toast. VALUE $40.00

Family and Friends Tour - Jupiter Lighthouse, a package of 6 admission tickets to climb the tower. VALUE $36.00

Limited Edition Cape St. George Lighthouse Print -Nationally known local photographer Ed Tiley has donated a 300 copy, signed, limited edition of the print of this very popular sunset image.

Either way be sure to let me know what prize you would or would not like to have, so if your ticket is drawn first you will get your choice. For example some people last year did not want the haunted tour of Pensacola (by the way St. Augustine and Jupiter are suppose to be haunted too, but no blood stains to view).

Eric, as much as I would LOVE the haunted tour of Pensacola (or the visits to Jupiter or St. Augustine - that one is VERY, VERY haunted), I might not be able to make the trip. However, the print would be a great prize!

Now Grace, I really thought you would go for the Pensacola Haunted Tour and Pensacola is most likely closer to you than me (I am in Orlando and it takes a long time for me to get there). The picture is very nice, I have one hanging in my office.

It would be really tough to pass up a haunted tour! I'll cross that bridge when you call me to tell me I won the tour!!
