Old Bailey's Harbor

Hello

I was wondering the status of Old Bailey's Harbor (Birdcage Light) in Door County Wisconsin? Is it on Private or Public Land, and is there any fundraising going on to preserve and restore it? It's an amazing light (well I think so at least!) I saw in the Lighthouse Digest that it was on the "Doomsday List." I'd be interested in anyone's thoughts about it.

It is on Private land. People have been asking to help them preserve it for many years, without getting anywhere. During the upcoming Lighthouse Walk, maybe we will hear what the current status is.

Its funny you posted about Old Baileys Harbor. WILD just had pins of Old Baileys Harbor made for the Door County Lighthouse Walk this year. The finished pins arrived a few days ago.
