Funds raised will be used to help preserve Long Island Lighthouse Raffles tickets are $2 each and 6@$10. Harbour Lights and members have donated all the prizes.

OK, we're less than a month away!

Bob are you going to raffle these items during the Long Island regional or the night boat tour? I'm assuming that we can buy tickets during the day event.

This is a worry. I'm thinking of having something separate at the regional so that the winners can have their prize immediately. You may be able to get them at the regional but the safe way is to get them before. I'm staying with the Regional group all day Saturday at Freeport and we'll be setting up a climb at Fire Island after the regional. More on that soon.

The Long Island Chapter is trying to raise the last $4000 for the $19,500 Cedar Island Oil House Restoration so we can begin the project by the end of this month.

So I may not be as vocal as you (on here anyway ..LOL)

Seriously though, Hubby & I had a GREAT time on the cruise. It was the friendliest & most entertaining group of people that we had encountered in a LONG time. (Yes, we have 3 kids & don't get out much :rolleyes:

The tour of Huntngton lighthouse that was arranged on the cruise for the next morning was also wonderful (barring the part where we got lost on the way to the dock)

I got some great shots both days to help grow my collection of photographs & love being a part of your efforts to rebuild Cedar Island. For the next raffle, I'll be sure you have a Framed Ceramic Tile Mural in your possession to give away
