Well those hearings for the $50,000 grant seem to impress many important people. We not only got that grant, but of the 1 million dollars approved that the governor ask for, for lighthouse preservation, St. George got $350,000. Both funds should arrive in July.
We have a fund raiser May 5th that should bring in a few more dollars.
The WACKO's are part of this success, as it was one more way of showing support and having matching money for grants. THANKS AGAIN.
We MAY have a tower within one year.

Great news, Eric. Congratulations to all the St. George Lighthouse Preservation folks for a great job with raising funds. We will be looking forward to your continued progress and success.

Update - Cape St. George as well as Crooked River and Anclote survived the budget vetoes!
