Be the FIRST to stay 2 nights inside SE Light or Win a "Gold" HL Southeast Light OTM - 04/13/03 10:55 PM
The "Benefit on the Block", celebrating the 10th anniversary of the move of Southeast Light, Block Island, RI, will raise funds for the restoration of this historic lighthouse. This event is being hosted by NELL and will feature Bill Younger and Harry Hine. This event will take place August 9, 2003 at the Southeast Light on Block Island.
There will be plenty of food, fun, auctions and even the announcement of winners in our Art, Poetry & Verse Contest for children of the Block Island, RI school system.
We would love for you to join us that day but even if you can't you can still help to restore this unique Victorian Gothic lighthouse through one of the following.
Featured Opportunity Drawing: - Cost of each ticket: $100.00
Prize #1: Cut the Ribbon and have the option to be the FIRST to stay 2 nights in one of the new Lighthouse Keeper’s suites when renovations are completed. The suite includes a bedroom, sitting room, kitchenette and private bath. A private tour of the tower is also included.
Prize #2: Harbour Lights “GOLD” Southeast Light On the Move.
NOTE: The first name drawn will choose between the 2 prizes. The remaining prize will go to the second name drawn.
Benefit Drawing: Tickets $2.00 each or 6 for $10. There will be many, wonderful prizes including an original Limited Edition Southeast Light by Harbour Lights signed by Bill Younger.
Tickets for both of these drawings ("Featured Opportunity Drawing" and "Benefit Drawing") will be available on the NELL Website at www.nell.cc in the next couple of days along with who to make the check out to and the address to send it to.
