Robin landed today along with Robin #7. Plenty of cards to choose from. I'll be sending this one back out early next week to the Abbotts.

Re: Round Robin #6 Part 2 - 02/14/04 05:13 AM

Robin arrived in Texas today and brought some of that cold snowy northeast weather. We'll try to get it back in the mail tomorrow. If the forecast is correct and we get some of that white stuff this evening, everything will shut down, including the post office. smile

Re: Round Robin #6 Part 2 - 02/14/04 02:48 PM

Ah! So that is why is has been relatively decent up here in the Northeast this week. Guess you didn't like our weather and are sending it back as this weekend it is supposed to get really cold again. frown

Shirin, not only cold, but that storm will hit us with a Noreaster with snow. This should be fun in the Chesapeake/Virginia Beach area.

We did get the snow, over 5 inches so far and it's still snowing. Darn, why couldn't this have happened on a workday. It's not real cold, staying at 29-30.
Replaced five cards and the robin is now in the hands of the US Post Office and on it's way to Mombo.

Re: Round Robin #6 Part 2 - 02/15/04 01:46 AM

Well Tom and Joyce, just send the cards but not the snow please! We are getting a bit of that white stuff currently. And tonight the temp's supposed to go down to zero and -10 the next night. Bah humbug, enough already. frown

It's here! I'm probably going to take 5 cards from this one and send it on tomorrow or the next day.

Sue, you did good getting the total back to 10! Arrived yesterday, took 6, replaced those 6, back in the mail today, going west to Utah and Miss Lorie!

Re: Round Robin #6 Part 2 - 02/26/04 10:33 PM

The robin must have found a tail wind heading west. wink It landed in Utah today. I took out 4 cards and it will be on it's way to Darlene in the morning.

Darlene have you seen the RR yet? It only took 2 days to get from Randy in Ohio to Utah.

Re: Round Robin #6 Part 2 - 03/05/04 06:17 PM

It must have been tired after the quick trip from Ohio to Utah -- it arrived last night.

I am off to the Washington Coast in about an hour for the weekend -- Al and I are celebrating our 33rd Anniversary

Will send it on its way Monday when we return.

I just acquired about 120 new unused international cards, and about 50% of them are dups (to me).

Guess where they will end up????
