Paul, it wasn't available last year in it's current format. Previous year's had a lots of misinformation and bad locations. If you review it closely...
I sent now just for that reason St Paul, so you all come back now.

PS I thought the pc with the moon over the lighthouse was pretty cool too! Made me put some others I had on the back burner for future pc exchanges.

I had two envelopes waiting for me in the mailbox today. One from Bernth (nice shot of Fire Island) and the PACKAGE form Bob. I love the map! Thanks, we will use it when we get to head up that way someday, maybe next year.

Received the package from Bob yesterday as well. Thanks for the wonderful map. This will come in handy when I look for the Truro, no I mean the Montauk lighthouse. Men In Black has warped reality for me.

I have been away for several weeks on vacation. Most of the time in New York and Long Island. Just returned to receive many nice post cards in the mail from PE #10 and PE #12. Bob, I really enjoyed the beautiful map of Long Island.
I also received a Postcard for PE#13. I was away and don't remember signing up for it but I would love to participate. How do I get the Mailing list for PE #13?

Ed's card from South Carolina arrived today. Great choice of a lighthouse Ed! I love Hunting Island. While visiting my parents in Augusta, GA my dad and I took a great father-daughter bonding trip to this lighthouse. We both loved the site and he's ready to take the 4 hr drive back out there to share it with my mother.

I went to Hunting Island 2 yrs ago and loved it! Infact it was on that Lighthouseing trip that I bought my first HL. And well the rest is history. And I'm sure you all know the history story! One HL leads to another, then to another, and another, and another.......

We were at Hunting Island 2 years ago on our way to deliver my Mother's car to her in Florida.

Nice park, nice Lighthouse. You get a small bonus- part of the Fresnel Lens from Morris Island is in the base of the Lighthouse.

I've been out the last couple of evenings volunteering as an alumni for Welcome Receptions for the 2006 class of the Unniversity of Delaware so I am a bit behind in my posting which cards I've received.

I have drug my feet on this exchange and ask forgiveness about that delay. Found the cards I want to send, so, I will get everything together

Not unusual, Stephanie. Many of us work better with the deadline approaching. There will be, in all probability, one or more cards mailed the last day of the exchange. Will give you a "lighthouse high" when you get that big influx of cards.

Just hang in there. Maybe I'll even send you a picture of a lighthouse you really like. . .

Look at it this way- if everyone sent them quickly you'd have nothing to look forward too towards the end.

Yea I guess so, it's just that I want a card ! I realy enjoy checking my mail box and finding something other than bills! :rolleyes:

However I have been finding checks in the mail for the Cedar Keys Lighthouse Pin. And thats a good thing!

About 2½ weeks to go - time to get serious about getting those remaining cards out. Rather than do my normal of waiting for the very final days to mail, my cards will be at the post office this afternoon. Everyone gets the same card.

Only 18 days to go, and I know I've lagged behind as well, but we've only received 12 cards so far.

Two great Fire Island cards came yesterday from Charles. Thanks a lot. Great memories of my visits there came back as I read the info and looked at the cards.

Thanks to Larry for the great card. I collect old postcards. This card shows the lighthouse and keeper as it was in 1918. Very cool! I love the cards that show lighthouses the way they used to be. Terry
