New Lighthouse Postage Stamps To Be Issued
The U. S. Postal Service will soon issue a set of new lighthouse postage stamps featuring lighthouses of the Pacific. The lighthouses that will be featured are: Diamond Head Light, Hawaii; Five Finger Lighthouse, Alaska; Grays Harbor Light, Washington; Umpqua River Lighthouse, Oregon; and St. George Reef Light, California. The date and location of the first day of issue ceremony for the release of the stamps has yet to be determined, but will most likely be this autumn. If you know of former lighthouse keepers of any of these lighthouses, please email us their email address, regular mailing addresses and phone numbers.

How exciting! I've searched on the USPS site for any news and haven't found a thing. If anyone hears anymore about this, please post.
