PCE 27 - NO ENVELOPE - sign up

Time to see if there is any interest in restarting the Post Card Exchanges. Max of 25 people. This one will be for new cards sent in the normal post card fashion (no envelope). Don't have to send all the same card, but it is very helpful in keeping track of what you have sent to a person. You would need a total of 27 cards (24 other players, 2 courtesy cards, and one for yourself.) Exchange will start as soon as list is distributed, and will continue thru November 15th.

It is possible that these current exchanges may see our first international participants.

Bob Scroope has agreed to collect names and addresses and send out mailing lists for this round. If you have not participated in an exchange in the past year, or if your mailing information has changed, please send the information to b o b @ scroope.net (take out the spaces). Be sure to include "PCE 26" in the subject or the spam filter wlll get you!

Thanks Iris for the lovely photograph post card. It sent ourminds straight back to standing on top of that tower and taking a 360degree video of the Kiel Fjord. It is a lovely place!!!

I just returned home, but won't be able to pick up my mail for the last two weeks until Tuesday.

What postcards have been received in the last two weeks? I would like to get my postcards ready to send out, but don't want to duplicate what has been already received and/or sent.

Mine were sent from Duck, NC the other day. All the same. Hopefully they all arrive okay - my handwriting is REALLY REALLY bad. They have a picture of Currituck on them.

Once again, people looked at me funny when I bought 30 postcards... :rolleyes:

My postcards for PCE #27 are going out in the mail on Monday. Everyone gets the same card.

We have been to Berlin last week and during that time 3 cards arrived at home - thanks to Seagirt, Sunshine and Bob S. Seagirt, why did you choose this card for the PCE? Sunshine, the US lighthouses are so beautiful and look so different to our lights - thanks for the multiple view card. Bob S. thank you for your wonderful lighthouse card, I enjoyed it very much because of the color

Iris - I chose that card since I got it and mailed it from the Outer Banks, where Currituck is. I thought it might be cool to do a "Mailed From Here" thing...though I was given away a bit by the fact that I mailed it from Duck, NC, instead of Corolla (where the light is) - one town off!

Joan's card appeared in the letterbox here today, too. A favourite light! I saw it on my June 2004 sailing trip from the Hamptons to Mystic. Incredible light...a real feat!

Stephanie's card got here today. Another nice one! Not a new one for me, but my other one is kind of beat up (good ol' USPS!), so it's nice to have a nice-looking one!
