Thomas Point, MD HL#181 - 06/25/01 09:04 PM

Does anyone know how difficult it is to fix a broken string on a Thomas Point #181 that holds the boat?

I don't remember how the string is attached (i.e. knotted) and if another could easily replace a broken one.

*** This may sound like a stupid question, but I don't personally have a Thomas Point, otherwise I would just look at it. Just wondering for FYI in case I purchase one that has a broken string.

If I remember correctly Harbour Lights can provide a paper with instructions for stringing the boat. I would check with them if I were you.

Ummmm, I emailed HL a few weeks ago, but no response or letter with instruction.

Anybody have a copy of these instructions which could be photocopied?

I quess it can't be that hard to re-string this piece. Just place a knot on both ends and carefully trim the loose ends off...right?
