Sullivan's Island Curiosity - 09/05/08 04:57 PM

Hi all; passing through again!! smile

Almost let it all slip by me and don't know if I previously posted this, but when they called to tell me Bill Younger will be local next Sunday (a work day), and I dusted the area and found slivers of shedded paint, it reminded me. Out of the 8 lights I have on top of my book case at the top of the stair landing, only Sullivan's island (white paint on the tower) is "peeling"! I have the blinds closed and a sheer curtain over top of that, but for some reason, it is in need of a paint job!? Any ideas/suggestions (besides, uh, repaint it nono )?

Do you mean the Sullivan Range HL343
or Charleston (Sulivan) lighthouse HL267?

I had the same problem with Portsmouth Harbor. I took it to my dealer who replaced it and was to call / send it to Harbour Lights. My Charleston is in fine shape.

I would definitely contact Harbour Lights or go back to your dealer on this.

Well, considering a few are now closed and others may or may not be in the HL business (or may have even been bought out of town), I just called Harbour lights and they will take care of it. smile

Thanks,
Steve
