Let's see if we can explain this one!
Take a look at the flag Number. Box appears to be 3752, but the flag reads 5752.

Based on the paint condition of the piece itself(missing/rubbed off, chips, etc.) and the ultra bright black numbers, I would venture a guess that the original 3752 either rubbed off or was wiped off and a black permanent marker was used to reapply the number and a "5" was used instead of the original"3". Remember, they only made 5500 of these and a 5752 would be over the limit. This is only my observation on this.

The unusual thing about that sale is that the piece sold for more than retail price. Of course, THAT is due to 'supply and demand'... short supply, large demand. Works every time! There is nothing unusual about the piece itself, other than the fact that LHD used a different tactic in the original sales of this one.
