The picture shows a white Mackinaw, the write up says red. Wonder what the buyer will end up with. Can't believe the buyer paid that much when they could have purchased two matched pairs for the same money.....

eBay at its best! Two deep pockets duking it out. But you never know when it is going to happen.

Obviously, the high bidder is not a connected collector from the CF or he or she could have had a matched pair from the Trading Post for less money.

Besides that, what are they bidding for so early anyway???? They're just bidding against themselves and running the price up higher. They've got until the 25th. At this rate we could see a final bid in the thousands.

Received my matched set today from my dealer. Also received John/Paul's Harbour Lights book. Looks like a lot of very interesting reading.

White Mackinaw up to $295 with over 5 days left.

I find this very interesting. I haven't received my red & white pair of Macs yet, but expect them soon if others are receiving theirs. I wonder what a matched pair of #15 would be worth?

Now there's a red/white matched set at $125 and counting.

The matched pair #13 set I have on the Trading Post will be pulled if not sold today. Looks like eBay for that set!

Has anyone noticed that several of the "high dollar" eBay sales of Mac's (matched pair & white hull) have been relisted? What's going on here? Are the buyers backing out, or do the sellers have multiples? Very interesting.
