Hi, I'm Bud Schrader from Logan,Ohio, and
my wife Bev and I have been totally into lighthouses for about 3 years. Of course
we are avid H.L. collectors, and all our
time off is spent on some coast photographing lighthouses. Our 14 year old
daughter joins us on these forays. Glad we found this site. Anybody know where we can find #172 Chatham? Thanks!

Welcome Bud and Bev! If you check the Retired at Retail service on the HarbourLights.com website I think you will find information on where to find a Chatham. http://members.aol.com/seasentry/RetiredHL/rr_list.htm

Welcome, Bud & Bev! It is good to meet you and have you join us here at the Collector Forums. It is my sincere hope that you'll post here often.

Chatham?.. Keep a close eye on the thread "Marketplace". There have been some exceptionally good buys there and you never know what might show up for sale. As a matter of fact, put an ad in that you want to buy a Chatham and see if any one of the regular.

Once again, welcome aboard!

Welcome Bud. Always nice to have another Buckeye on the Forums! I love visiting Hocking Hills State Park close by your home. Beautiful rock formations and waterfalls.

Welcome Bud & Bev. You might try Collectors World on Cape Cod. Chris Alex there usually has a good store of retired HLs at retail.

Welcome to the Forums Bev & Bud. You definitely have found the right site, as most of the folks who are here have the same symptoms - the need to have lighthouses a part of their daily lives.

I look forward to reading your future posts. Good luck with finding Chatham, you shouldn't have much trouble.

Welcome aboard Bud and bev you have found a great place and the greatest bunch of people you could ever hope to know I know that from first hand experience and if there is a Chatham available they will help you find it but I must tell you on this piece which was my first one I bought and returned it next day (I am from Chatham)I realised it had a mistake in it 3 front dormers instead of 1 as it actually is and I have found a few others with errors in them but I still have great respect for BY and find him a great guy. Some people buy HL's with mistakes on purpose but not I once BY told me I was too fussy. but as I still say I collect history and not mistakes I still love HL's you will enjoy this gang we all have our own ideas and express them ocasionally to get things going.Bill O'Brien

Welcome Bud and Bev. Like you Diana (my wife) and I have been lighthousing for about 3 years. All of our vacations revolve around lighthouses now. Even some of my work travels take me to areas where there are lighthouses. I always schedule an extra day or two to see all I can while there. You will want to join in on this week's chat on Wednesday. Rumor has it that we will have a sneek preview of a 2002 release. You wont want to miss it.

Hi Bud and Bev and welcome to the HL Forums.

I "ditto" most of what has been said here, except that I have a #172 in the original box that I will be glad to part ways with. Email me so I can send you the particulars. Original price is affixed to the box.

I would like to offer my welcome as well! I've been away from the forums for quite some time and it's nice to see how it's grown over the many months. Great new ideas and great people have always been welcome!
