Welcome aboard! There is a great group of folks here who are always willing to help. We all come from different kind of background, but we all love the lights. You wouldn't happen to be near Knoxville would you? Spent 10 years there and loved it, great country there and would mind visiting next time I have some time.

How do you get the picture in the corner under your username?

Welcome to the Forums. you'll find the folks here very helpful.

As for the little picture you need to go to the top of the home page that says Collectors Forum click on my profile which is just to the right of the picture and the click on View/ Update Profile.

Scroll down to Avatar Image. this is the little picture. You can choose one of the images that John has laoded into the system or choose your own.

If you choose your own you'll need to go to this Forum

which explains how to upload images to the Website.

I am not a webmaster or cruise Director or a Saint. I fall under the catagory of WACKO, which you may have noticed most of us are. NO PUN INTENDED! Your category is that of a NEWBIE. That's not as bas as it looks! Having said that I am going to take an educated guess about why you don't have a section for an AVATAR. You get that privelege when you reach the status of WACKO! That requires that you have 50 posts here on the forum and you are then automatically made a WACKO and you get to post an avatar! Now that's something to strive for. Imagine telling your flock that you've reached the status of WACKO.

If I'm not right someone will fill in the gaps and you will know for sure.

Thanks Bert. I was starting to think I didn't know what was going on... LOL I have my own message board and I was reading all the Doc files to find my problem here. Thanks for everything... This board is really nice. I am glad I found it.

No, Bert, you are correct. If my brain was working correctly last night I would have remembered that.

You cannot set an Avatar until you get to Wacko status.

Jason my instructions will work when you get 50 posts. So think of something to say and start saying it. LOL
