Did I miss something? Why was the Atlantic City Show cancelled? I noticed that the topic disappeared from the forums. I wasn't planning on going- just curious.

Krause, the owner/sponsor of the show just pulled it - I think not enough participation by exhibitors for the April show.
9/11 is taking some blame. But collectibles overall are a very discretionary purchase especially with the economy in the r-word.
Potential exhibitors were probably not anxious to spend the thousands (tens of thousands) it costs to put together a booth, transport it, staff it, set it up and tear it down AND pay Krause for floor space.
We shall see if the alternate East Coast/West Coast Spring show continues or not.
