Hi Tim H... welcome aboard! I am not sure about the Annandale, VA area, but you can e-mail Dean Overman at dupont24@erols.com. He will have that information for you. Also, with two posts under your belt, you only have 48 more to go before officially becoming a Wacko! Good luck and keep posting!

Thanks Tim for the info on the Chesapeake Regional in Woodbridge Va on Sept. 16. I will be there for sure on this event and hope to see a lot of other collectors and Wackos there also. Sounds like a fun event.

I had heard there was going to be a Chesapeake event in September. Thanks for the heads up on when and where. My only question is why Woodbridge, Va. It is on the Potomac River about 80 miles upriver from the Chesapeake Bay.

Possibly because it is close to DC and also to Miller's Lighthouse. Ed Miller has been a big supporter of the Chesapeake Chapter of the USLHS. It may also be that it will be easier for more people to get to this location than somewhere on the bay. Just some suppositions, fwiw.

Re: Chesapeake Bay Area Regional - 06/07/00 02:00 PM

Thanks Dave,

I am not familiar with Dave Miller or Miller's Lighthouse. I wasn't complaining about the location. Just wondering out loud. I live on the Bay and don't really consider Northern Va. in the Bay region. But then what do I know?

Tim H... here is another bit of information for you regarding a club in the Annandale, VA area. Contact Judy Schneider of the DW Collector Club at (410) 721-2183. I retrieved that information from the HL web page under Collector Clubs. Good luck!

Tim

Thanks for the updating (again!) As to Miller Lighthouse store...It is a fantastic
place & the owner is very helpful. I am glad it is in Woodbridge; although, OPC would have been nice.
