Gold Fort Tompkins Winners

I suddenly realized that I hadn't posted a picture of the winners of the Gold Fort Tompkins at the Summer Regional in Chicago... I am finally catching up from all of the trips, a little.

Only thing I know for sure is that the young lady standing next to Bill is not Randy's father-in-law.

Well that's narrowed it down a bit...

My father-in-law is the middle one of the three winners! (I would have said "in the middle," but some smartie would say there are two people in the middle!) His name is Richard Henrich and he and his wife have a "small" collection of lights that they have seen with us, mostly in Florida and Maine. I call him "lucky" and it shows! That is one beautiful gold lighthouse that he now owns!

Thanks for the post, Paul. I presume the other two winners were non-attendees? I wonder if any was a "connected collector". Apparently the three pictured were not.

You are correct about the other two being non-attendees... one was a man from Virginia and I believe the other was a woman from Wisconsin.. I am getting it narrowed down as to who is who. I have all of the names but just need to put the correct name with the face. I think Winner 3 is either Denise Cane or Lane of Chicago..

Bruce, the 2 non-attendees' names didn't sound familiar. I'd say a father-in-law was semi-connected!

I added the other two names to the original post and will update when I find out Denise's spelling of her last name.. I think I have the right name with the right face now..

Paul, Here's my guess to Denise's last name, She didn't come foreward right away because Bill was calling a Denise McLane but it is Denise M. Lane .... how ever it was, Bill was adding her middle inital to her last name

Hello enbrady, I am the fellow on the left with the big smile, Bob Jaegers. The reason for the smile is that I was lucky enough to win a GOLD Lighthouse. This was on Sat., Monday my wife and I went out and purchased a colletors cabinet in order to show it off and the rest of my collection. Just a note off thanks to all that took part in the Regional event, can't wait til next year. Great group of people

I am the female representative in the picture & Mark Wagner is correct my name is Denise M. Lane (using my middle initial is a habit). Winning the Gold Fort Tompkins lighthouse was so overwhelming that I was on a high for the rest of the evening. When I brought it home my husband couldn't believe it, & now we are talking about where we are going to put our second curio ( we sure are keeping cabinet makers busy) to display this special piece & my on going collection. Although I have been able to attend some of the signing events, this was the first regional event I was able to make & I am still amazed at how lucky I was that night.

By the way I would like to thank Elmer for calling me a "young" lady.
