RIP Digger

Many of you know Digger (AKA Steve Ervin) from the old days. Some may have heard mentions of Digger and wondered who he was. Digger was a founding member of the Hoosier Lighthousing Club and a frequent participant in the early days of the Collector Forums.

Digger was also a fantastic artist. Several of our members own one of his paintings. He drew our club logo. The logo for the Mackinac reunion was drawn by Steve. His talent was unbelievable.

Sadly, Digger unexpectedly passed away April 22nd. He will certainly be missed by all.

Another of the "old club" will be missed!

Yes I remember Digger.I believe He was a couple of years younger than me. His paintings were fantastic. I have many of his drawings somewhere on JPEG's.

Digger was a Facebook friend. I just learned there that he has passed away. He had such a great sense of humor and was such a talented artist. I am glad to have known him and very saddened to have lost him.
