Fortunately Ocala is 80 miles inland from the Atlantic and that is what saved most of the area from major damage. The coastal areas of Florida really took the blunt of the damage. Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina are under the gun now and Virginia is expected to see some rough weather also. And surprise, surprise, they expect it to turn completely around and head back to somewhere around Miami.
Really a weird storm!!!

Glad that you are OK. Also heard from Rip that they got rain and wind but no major problems. Probably the same for the Pixie if she was ever actually at home.

Hopefully Sean & Liz Thompson are also OK. They live near the SC coast as I recall. Think we may also have some others who are along the Atlantic coast in the areas impacted by the storm.
