Dr. Frank will be taking it easier for awhile since he tore major muscles in his leg recently and had to undergo surgery to put everything back together. He now sports a full length cast and will be out of commissionfor several months.

Known as "fscjr" here on the Forums, Frank is also NELL's Co-Chairperson for Lighthouse Preservation.

Join me in wishing Frank a speedy recovery.

Frank - all this 'down time' can be 'up time' on the Internet. There's always a sunny side.

Take care and don't drive Carolyn crazy.

Get well soon...

Frank,

Hope your feeling better. Take it easy and don't prove that old saying- doctors make the worst patients.

Hi Frank,
I hope you get feeling better real soon. I had a full length leg cast on several years ago...I couldn't believe what a pain "in the you know what" it was having on. You take so many things for granted until you can't do them. I hope the leg heals fast and you are up and going asap!

Frank,

Well since it is winter you can plan next year's lighthousing extravaganza while getting better.

We agree with Nana you now have time to wrap the Christmas presents.

Take care!

I guess the question that really needs an answer is how did Frank tear his leg muscles? My bet is he was chasing someone down to sell them some NELL pin sets! lol

Get well soon, Frank. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Get well soon Frank. I would say "get back on your feet soon" but that may be a little diffucult with that cast. You said it was hard to drive with the cast, well you could always get an "IT" and motor all over the place!

To my Dear "Lighthousing" friends---I thank you for all the posts and cards I've received. I sincerely appreciate this reconfirmation of "family" feelings.
I'm doing well-will be in the new cast for another month, then a brace for a few weeks, and long rehab. If we do any climbs this Spring, Carolyn and Ron will have to carry we up (HA!) My best to you all for a glorious and Blessed Holiday Season...Frank

Frank, I have just spent some of NELL's hard earned money to purchase "IT" for you. Actually, "IT" will belong to the club and will be used to save the backs of the members who otherwise would have to carry the feeble-folks up the lighthouses. We are planning to climb in January and will have "IT" in time for you to learn to maneuver.

Keep getting stronger.
