Happy 18th Birthday Heather Hannum!

We wanted to be the first ones to post on your birthday (even though we know that you are still sound asleep)!

We remember Heather as a little girl following a bunch of "old" people around as they discussed a thing called Harbour Lights.

This Spring we spent Easter together and have found out that our little girl has grown up into a beautiful young woman! (well not so beautiful too early in the morning!)

Have a great day HEATHER and make your dad give you a big hug and kiss from us!

You know the last post wasn't really me 'cause it had a smiley face in it. Tonight we all went out for dinner and then Heather had pictures taken. (A birthday tradition every year except one when they weren't taken until the 10th.)

I would have to say that Heather was pretty much surprised by the cake that Paul and Sue brought to Michigan City for her (thank you Paul & Sue!) We all ended up enjoying the cake after dinner. When Paul gave her the photo she was pretty much without words, something that does not happen too often. The picture sure did turn out great! (Fortunately, as she was a little overdressed for our work day.)

LIBob, the school requires yearbook pics to be in a certain style, and by the "official" photographer. However, this picture will re-surface around graduation time, so you will have to stay tuned to see how Heather wants to use it.

BobM, Vettes are not Heather's kind of wheels. Her choice would be America's real convertible, a Jeep Wrangler. (Actually, she would really like a full size [original size] HUMVEE, aka the Hummer. Don't park your Vette where she wants to park her HUMVEE!)

Hey Dave. Tell Heather that just for her, I've arranged a no-charge membership to the Collector Forums.

She can have the USCG emblem as her avatar instead of that "Navy" one her Dad uses.

Happy 18th Birthday Heather! I hope your birthday was filled with loving family and close friends (it seems like you were off to a good start this last weekend)! The picture is BEAUTIFUL - very lovely.

Enjoy 18 - it's the time when your life really starts. I'm sure that everyone here can verify this - time will start flashing by now. {I'm still trying to figure out where the last 9½ years went since I was 18. Ugh!} By the way, a choice of Vette or Hummer - take the Hummer - the vette can't always get out to all the lighthouses while the Hummer can make it's own trails! :p

That's a great idea for a senior picture. And I bet it was a wonderful birthday surprise for Heather.

I've been trying off and on for over a year to get back into the forums (not really rrying too hard). When I saw this post I knew I had to get on NOW.
