Twenty-Five Years Ago... - 12/31/00 05:49 AM
On December 31, 1975, A small group of friends and family gathered in Davenport Iowa to witness our Wedding at Edwards Congregational Church.
We thought it would be a neat day to be married - on New Year's Eve. Certainly would be a hard date to forget.
But while the wedding was nice, each anniversary, it's been hard to find a place to celebrate. Most nicer restaurants have "New Year's Eve Packages" which require something more than just a quiet dinner.
But we've managed to celebrate at home with an occasional 'dinner' out early in the afternoon.
Like most marriages, I suspect, ours have been filled with great times and a few tough ones too. But as we turn calendar to a new millenium, we're still enjoying each other's company and companionship and sharing our love for and from our 15 year old son, Chris.
Forever yours, Suzie...
