Margret,
He's darling and yes you are allowed to not be impartial - Grandma rights!

Margret, we all know that it just is not possible for a grand parent to be anything but impartial when it comes to their grandkids.

He is a cutie, Margret! Grand kids are wonderful, and when they fuss too much the parents take them home. It's always nice to enjoy the better side of grand-parenting!

He is soooo precious, Margret! You are lucky; I have only one grandchild. Geoff will be 18 next month, so it's been a long time since I had one in my arms (and I have four adult children, too!)

Re: Grandson Leon - 01/12/07 09:02 PM

You are so right Grace... "precious" is the right word. I am so sad that I have had no chance to see the little guy for real yet. They live in the most southern part of Germany and we could not go there. It is too far, especially in the Winter. Down there it SNOWS ... Maybe they can come "up country" next time we go over there. In the mean time we'll have to make due with pictures.

We are about to become grandparents again ... well in September... Stan's son Ian and his wife Wendy are having their first child.
That'll make five between us. And two Great-Grandchildren groupwave

Maybe it is the angle of the photo, but Leon looks kimd of lanky in this photo. Kind of a mischevious grin in the photo....

Re: Grandson Leon - 03/19/07 09:30 AM

Dave, both is true! He is typical for our family in that he is unusually tall for his age.
And I guess the inclinatin to mischief is not untypical either wink

Margret-
Thanks for sharing the newest photo of Leon with us! I'm sure he'll be on the go soon. Then the fun begins...he'll keep you on your toes if that grin is any indication!
Like the koala bears on his bottom! smile
