Heather Goes to the State Fair - 08/11/02 05:55 AM

Again this year Heather had a good run at the county fair. Her photo board (10 pics) and her single salon print were both Reserve Champions in her class. Her food preservation project and her basket were both Grand Champions and selected to go to the state fair. At the state fair both of her projects earned blue ribbons, not bad when she was competeing against the best projects from each of Indiana's 90 or so counties. A very good 4-H project year for her!

Dave you must realy be proud of her. Of course having talented parents can't hurt! 4H sure is a great program.

Isn't it great when your talents and hard work are recognized by judges? Congrats on sticking in there! Did you ever think about sending some of your designs to an basket companies?

I agree with Terry, Heather! Congrats!
I first thought Howard was the name of your basket but I'll bet it's your County?
Another unique talent for the USCGA, does the Commanders wife know? I guess you'll have no problem tying knots?
