Happy Birthday Cheryl. Since Stephen has joined our merry bunch of wackos, it has been a pleasure chatting with him and you.

40!!!!!

Sounds like a party to me! When can we expect our invitations? Happy birthday Mom! I'll give you your gift at the Warsaw event next year (I have a whole box full from my 40th). Remember, we're all like fine wine, we can only improve with age.

Happy Birthday Cheryl. I'd make some "40" jokes, but it's such a distant memory for me, I can't remember what it was like. May you have many more.

Happy Birthday Cheryl. Don't worry a thing about being 40. As St. John stated, "Life doesn't begin until 40". He's so right.

Happy Birthday...Cheryl! I'll share a quick story with you about getting old. My wife and I were dining at the Mohegan Cafe overlooking Old Harbor at Block Island. It was a extremely foggy day with visibility limited to the sidewalk across the street. We noticed a rather large group of people gathering on the sidewalk, and suddenly an ambulance pulled up. In between our salads and main course I noticed our waitress across the street watching whatever was going on. When she returned I inquired what had happend. She advised me that some "old guy" had fallen down the embankment and split his head open on a rock. She further added that the "old guy" must have been at least 40!

Happy Birthday, Cheryl! Forty is not so bad. It only seems that way to a fourteen year old.

Happy Birthday Cheryl! If you're over the hill, I must be over the mountain, so don't fret. Hope you had a great day!

I kept forgetting to post this yesterday. That's what happens when you are over fifty. I always felt like, "Yippee I made to forty" with all the things that go on in life. Sue and I both wish you a belated Happy Birthday!

I would like to say thank you to everyone for all the birthday wishes. After reading all the posts, I must be a spring chicken. I can remember when I thought 40 was old. Now that I'm here, it isn't old at all. O.K. Stephen now I know why you needed that $70. Thanks again to everyone.

A belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, CHERYL. If you don't want to be 40 you can always do as the late, great comedian Jack Benny did. He stopped counting at 39. When I reached 40 I thought that I might never reach the year 2000, but here we are just short of three months from it.
