I know she had a great day - though I couldn't join her I did have the opportunity to speak with her.

I will do the decent thing and not reveal her age, but we did need to bring in an adequate number of cakes to support the required candles...

(still not enough candles, but the fire department called)

And she will probably need something to wash down all the cake...

The old broad, birthday girl, or whatever you may call me...had a fantastic 65th birthday. I don't think Dave even put enough candles on the cakes in his post.

I have never been this old before, so I hope I will know how to act as I spend the year making my way to 66 and full Social Security payments.

Some of you know, but Heceta Head is my favorite "good job God" place. Every chance I can, my plans are made to go there. The innkeepers have become family and filling the B&B with friends who enjoy lighthousing, keeps me happy. Already my name is on the list for April, Spring Break.

Thanks to all of you who posted birthday greetings. I appreciate each and every one.

Gee, Derith, I thought Bob got a good "normal" picture of you.....

You know, I tried to be nice in this thread and not divulge how old the Pixie really was and was even nice to her, and I still get blasted.... Guess it just don't pay to try to be nice.

Put Ab in front of normal and you have it. As a relative of mine says, "it is what it is". So, there you have it....not blasting you just agreeing with the fire your candles made but add enough to rep the 65 years and your computer would have been smoking.
