It seems like only yesterday you were just a "kid." Now today you are a "man." Way to go Stephen. Eighteen is a big one...hope you enjoyed it.

Eighteen is a great age. We hope you had a great day. Next year at this time you will be more than halfway through your first year in college. Enjoy the home cooking now. Next year it is dorm food and pizza.

Thanks everyone! I didn't ask for any HLs, but I did get a book about Chicago skyscrapers (surprise, surprise). I can't wait for the cake Mombo! Mary- I don't know about the pizza part, it's a little far east for our local pizza place to deliver!

Does this not concern anyone else? Does Budweiser make a cake mix? How many cans of beer can you fit on top of a cake? (use a sheet cake, you have more room for the beer cans.) Do you use a straw to drink the cake or use a spoon?

Dave as for the cake Mombo is making next year, I recall my grandmother making a chocolated cake that she used a can of beer in. Will have to see if I can find that recipe for Sue.
