Thanks for all of the kind birthday wishes! I was lucky enough to get 2 HL from my husband (what a guy) -- Wind Point and Pemaquid. We had visited Wind Point in August, so he knew how much I wanted that one.
My kids gave me a copy of Charlotte Church's latest album, Enchantment. If you are not familiar with this young lady, she is only 15 years old and has an outstanding voice! I highly recommend this recording.
ALl in all I had a great day. I didn't have to work (!) and was able to go shopping with my daughter. I turned 41 and this year was kind of rough, and not just because I was 40. My grandmother passed away in December 2000. She and my mom (who passed in 1995) had lived together, so there was a lot of stuff to clean up and seel the home. I had a hysterectomy in May. I got bifocals last month, after never having had to wear glasses before. And many other little things along the way too. It's almost a relief to see 41, because it can't get any worse than last year!
