Vivien Cardone - 12/07/05 06:40 PM

My niece that's the actor in "Beautiful Mind" and the TV series 'Everwood' has a 5 minute family feature on VH1. The show is 'Kid Star Parents Exposed' which features bad parents for the first 55 minutes and then does a cute little thing with her family in the last 5 minutes. I saw it about 2 weeks ago, but it is on the Saturday at 11pm on VH1 - her spot will be around 1150-1200 midnight if your interested. I'm sure it will be repeated often. eek

I'll have to watch for that. What is your niece's name? I saw Beautiful Mind but have never watched Everwood although I hear that it's a good show.

Thanks, Bert. I'm constantly finding great things that this site can do. The "originators" have done a terrific job; it is so easy to negotiate one's way around.

Re: Vivien Cardone - 12/07/05 09:37 PM

Grace, here's a previous Topic that started earlier in her career.
VC

She was the little girl in 'Beautiful Mind that was the turning point of the movie. 'Everwood' is currently on Thursday's a 9pm on the WB. She's usually featured in the first and last 5 minutes.
4th season - the kids building quite a bank account!

Re: Vivien Cardone - 12/07/05 10:57 PM

I enjoyed reading over that topic, Bob. I'll have to check this program out. As I said, I have heard lots of good things about Everwood. Before you posted the old thread, I went to the Everwood site and found Vivien - recognized her from the movie right away. I won't be home Saturday evening but I have the DVR set to record.

Re: Vivien Cardone - 12/19/05 09:58 AM

Hey, Bob, I forgot to tell you that I saw the program about the kid stars. There are so many horror stories about child stars that it was good to hear that there are some whose families are sound of mind and spirit. I guess Vivien is your sister's child? They certainly are making sacrifices to help Vivien's career. They do seem to be taking it in stride, though - despite the usual sibling complaints! smile The segment on your family was cute and refreshing after the sad stories. I'm glad you told us about the program.

Re: Vivien Cardone - 12/19/05 12:51 PM

Hey Grace, glad you got to see it. Vivien is my wife's brother's child. The youngest and oldest -Lydia and Olivia are my God children. They all have many friends in Sandy, Utah, and love living there. Major problem is my brother-in-law commuting but he's been able to spend more and more time out there each year. Right now he's there 2/3's of the year.Bob

I saw that too (I'm a little overly-obsessed with VH1 at the moment). I wasn't sure, but I thought that was your niece when they mentioned that they were from New York.

Re: Vivien Cardone - 01/14/11 02:17 PM

I've been flicking the TV channels and have been catching glimpses of my niece in Beautiful Mind. Time flies, she was such a cute kid.

So now she is working her way into the Soap Opera "One life To Live" on ABC.
Her 1st appearance was yesterday as the new girl in a Twilight look alikes life.
II know nothing at all about the show, aand we didn't even know she was on yyesterday. We got a call from a niece who regularly watches the show - during the show!
