After talking to Patty last Thursday, it sounds like the Taneys and the 5 LLs will start shipping sometime this week.

And don't forget that I posted in the other thread that Tony let me know there were only about 50 of the matched sets still available. If you want the matched set and don't have it ordered better be talking to your dealer!

I just got an email from my local HL dealer. My Taney's are in. I may go tomorrow and pick them up.

Fantastic pictures, Paul. Wish I had the money and the space for them. Maybe they'll be made into LLOMs someday. smile

I love my set. Even my husband was waiting for this set to get here. It is not very often he will ask me when I am going to recieve my order, come to think of it he has never asked before.

I suspect that the matched sets will be gone shortly.. The Taney is now featured on the HarbourLights.com website..

Re: Ready to Ship - 11/15/07 07:14 PM

The HL web shows the AB 119 and the AB 120 each with a production amount of 150.

Taney on Harbour Lights web site

The August Musing say they are 750

August Musings

Which one is it.
If the 119 and 120 are only 150 maybe we are all going after the wrong one. Kinda like we did with the first open edition Anchor bays. The Open editions ended up being the rare ones.

Also what is the numbering for the 119/120 does it start as 601 or 1

Re: Ready to Ship - 11/15/07 07:17 PM

Daniel the matched sets AB121 are numbered 1 thru 600 and then the next 150 of each version which are sold as AB119 and AB120...

AB121 just appears on the matched set box, the ships just have AB119 or AB120 on their label depending on which version they are..

The non set ships are numbered 601 thru 750.. The first 600 of the production are sold as sets and the remaining 150 of each version are sold separately.. Or I can say it this way HL made 750 of the two versions of the Taney and the first 600 of each version are only being sold as a set (one of each version).

Tony C says that less than 50 sets remain at this time..

John C needs to list the edition of AB119 and AB120 as 750 each not 150... 150 only comes in to play as the amount of each that isn't being sold as a set..

Thanks Paul
It makes sense now.

So instead of keeping two boxes for the pair we now have three.

Paul, when you have some 'extra time', perhaps you can shoot some of your great closeup detail photos of the two pieces - perhaps of each from the same perspective to see how the two look in the 'early years' and in 'retirement' (at the Inner Harbour in Baltimore)

That's cast resin like the rest of the sculpture -- sure looks like wood, though, doesn't it.
