Is it time for another Lightship request from Anchor Bay?

Well boys & girls, the Nantucket Lightship became a reality because of what was posted here at the Collector Forums. Harbour Lights does listen to their collectors.

As a connected collector, we are privy to many things a non-connected collector doesn't know. A non-connected collector only gets his or her info from the HL Legacy and that's published only four times a year.

Our only disadvantage is we do not know what the non-connected collector may have requested from HL via emails or letters. I'm sure people write to Harbour Lights and request many lights for future manufacture. I still think we are better informed and we have more wishes granted due to the fact we have our fellow connected collector's support via the CF.

Therefore, let's get something going for another Lightship or other vessel you would like to see produced by Anchor Bay. Will it be another Lightship? Will it be another US Coast Guard vessel? Will it be a historic vessel?

What do you think?

I think it is time for a lighthouse tender as well as a lighthouse dory which a keeper would have used to get to the mainland and back.

Bring on another Lightship! I would like to see one of the following. Make it Diamond Shoal, Hen & Chickens, San Francisco or Relief. Any one of those would be fine with me.

Speaking of Lightships, the guy who hauls my boat was telling me about the Brenton Reef Lightship. I never knew it existed. It's gone now but was used until the Brenton Reef Tower was put in place. He even sent me a picture of it he printed off the Net.

I wonder if a Brenton Reef Lightship and a Brenton Reef Tower would sell in the Rhode Island area?

My request is still the Coast Guard icebreaker Mackinaw.

I would like to see the Ice Cutter North Wind, I was fortunate enough to sail on her through the Arctic Circle off the coast of Greenland.

My request would be for the Ambrose Lightship. A lot of history about this lightship. Hal

I like the idea of a tender. Something different, but related to the history.
