There's all kinds of rumors out there that Harbour Lights will be releasing another Anchor Bay before much longer.

Who here out of the 600+ registered members collects Anchor Bay? Are you waiting in anticipation for the next Anchor Bay as well as the next Harbour Light Lighthouse or even Fresnel Lens? I am, I can't wait for the next Anchor Bay!

Sean,

I wouldn't say that I collect Anchor Bay, but I do own the Coast Guard 44' MLB. If Harbour Lights were to come out with another U.S.C.G. vessel, I would buy it.

Well, Sean, I would welcome another AB release and would probably purchase it if I like it. I have all but two of the ones released so far. Does that make me an AB Collector?

I would purchase another AB, especially one of a real shipwreck (like an AB version of Cape St. George), but dump the glass cases and lower the prices, please...

I too am not really a AB collector but have added them to my collection as the dealers put them "ON Sale".

I have only two purchased because 1) They are lightships and therefore in keeping with the lighthouse theme and 2) Because they were deeply discounted. Although the glass cases are very nice they make these pieces very expensive. If an old-fashioned lighthouse tender were produced I would consider it, if the case were optional. I'm sure a less expensive "cover" could be found to protect it.

I would also welcome a new addition to the AB line and keep the cases . The price is still not bad when you consider that other lines ( non lighthouse related ) sell pieces for 100.00 to 125.00 or more and the case made for them with name plate etc. cost 60.00 to 70.00 or more. I have also seen AB on dealer display not in the cases and almost all of these were damaged.

Continue AB and keep the glass cases.."YES"

I've got 5 AB's....all purchased at reduced prices. If they produce either the "Mackinaw" or "Fitzgerald" I might consider paying the big-bucks for either or both [with glass case].

If they make an Anchor Bay of the Mackinaw, I would buy it.

I do like the ABs but haven't gotten any only because of lack of space.Maybe at a future date I may look for the lightships and the CG boat. For you old coasties they are in the process of developing a new surf boat that when built will be tested at Chatham Ma. on the bars.(from cape cod chronicle) Bill o'Brien oseabee

We are definitely looking forward to the next Anchor Bay release. It will have been a long time coming.

I would like to see Anchor Bay release a Lighthouse Tender. I will buy just the Anchor Bay pieces that appeal to me. I gotta save my money for the lighthouses.

I would like to see a AB & HL LE combonation piece. Otherwise, I will save my money for the lighthouses.
