i wondered how long it would take for someone to point out that this is a faux light.. An extremely well done faux light, I might add.. It will be interesting to see how it sells, it has a lot of things going for it to attract attention; red, palm trees, interesting architecture, interesting history about the lantern room and located in the Keys..

Its funny since it was a faux light I never considered it a lighthouse to visit. Now that it is made by Harbour Lights It is one my lights to visit. Allot of detail and also on my to buy list.

This is a private aid to navigation. The Florida Keys Reef Lights Foundation provided pictures for the model. I believe only 500 were made. Several models had the palm tree leaves break. A couple years ago the owner sold the property and the new owner painted the RED sections BLUE. On past lighthouse trips we had the boat pull up next to the lighthouse. The private lighthouse was built in 1959 and the lantern room is from Rebecca Shoal, so part of the lighthouse is an official US lighthouse. The F K R L F (Florida Keys Reef Lights Foundation) has the passport stamp for it. If you want one just send a SASE to
