Point Bonita & Isle of Shoals Due Friday?

While reading the "Constant Copyright Violations" tread, Jim of Cape Annies mentioned that Point Bonita & Isle of Shoals are due at dealer starting tomorrow (Friday).

Is this correct? I have my fingers crossed.

Yes Loon, it is true. The only delay could be the nor'easter that hit yesterday in Maine. It may mean that our pieces get shipped out to us tomorrow instead of today (Monday arrival instead of Friday). Also due is the next shipment of Red Hull Macs.

Any updates on the shipments of Point Bonita & Isle of Shoals?

I think the "nor'easter" hit!

I'm still digging out of nearly 2 inches of ice!

Here's the latest on Isle Of Shoals and Point Bonita. On first inspection of Isle Of Shoals, Harbour Lights discovered a few pieces that did not meet their standards. Rather than chance there being more sub-standard pieces, and having them arrive at dealers that way, they are doing a full inspection of their entire shipment of Isle Of Shoals.

Since Harbour Lights has decided to ship all new releases in pairs (to save them and the dealers shipping costs), Point Bonita will have to sit and wait patiently until Isle Of Shoals has been inspected. Both should start arriving at dealers in the Northeast next week.

Point Bonita and Isle Of Shoals have arrived at dealers in the Northeast. Isle Of Shoals is impressive, much nicer than the artist proof I saw a couple months ago.

Very interesting... Do you mean the LE is actually different from the AP you saw? If so, in what way? Is it just the way it is painted?

Probably not, it just seemed smaller. I didn't actually pick up the AP and look at it. It was in a buyer's showroom at an early January show, nestled behind some other Harbour Lights. It just seemed a lot more impressive today, when I could actually pick it up and look at from all angles.

I heard, from Bill, that with Race Point, MA, it took several tries to make it. I think he said the APs kept coming back too small, so I guess it's possible that I'm not imagining it. Maybe it could be an old AP Of Isle Of Shoals that didn't make the grade???

Then again, it's doubtful that Harbour Lights would want the rejects to surface. Years ago, they had dealers destroy a whole shipment of Scituates, because the paint color on the railing was wrong.

Thanks for the clarification on the Isle of Shoals, Jim! It's great to know another New England Light will be added to my collection.

I can't imagine what it would be worth if a private collector could get his or her hands on an AP that is actually different in size that a produced limited edition of the same piece.

Received my Point Bonita today, via the UPS truck from a great dealer out of state. Very nicely done sculpture, even without the bridge. It should complement the other California lights quiet nicely both in style and size.

Received my Point Bonita on Friday. Rrreeaall happy with it!!!

Anybody have any news on the March releases(Mobile Point, Detriot River, Gibbs Hill, etc) ???

I'm hoping they have the First order lens out by April 7th!

I just received my Point Bonita...gotta say that I am glad that I recently visited this one. It makes this piece so much more meaningful for me.
I truelly LOVE it!!!
I now wish that they made a companion piece that included the rest of the bridge and the tunnel through the rock leading to the bridge.

Picked up Point Bonita and Isles yesterday. I think a summer trip to the Bay area will be on tap this year, maybe after Labor Day when schools start.

Recieved Point Bonita Thursday, but didn't open it until this morning ( spend two wonderful days with my grandson ). I love it along with the other California pieces I recieved in the order.

I received both pieces yesterday. They are great.

My dealer just called saying my Point Bonita and Isle of Shoals just arrived at the Bronze Lady at John's Pass at Madeira Beach. I think I will wait to get them so Harry Hine can sign them when he is here for the in-store event on April 7th. Or maybe not, I can't wait to see them. Or maybe I should as I have no more display room
and I have a new curio coming the first week in April.

Isle of Shoals arrived in CO today. Don't know about Pt Bonita as I did not order this piece.
