I received an email from John, at Bayside Treasures, letting me know my Sequin Island and Point Allerton should be delivered to my home by Tuesday. Now that's a little more like it! Can you tell I'm happy with my new dealer?

I believe just the first few hundred are going to be numbered. I will check with HL and update if it is going to be different than that.

Think Paul has it right on the numbering of the Men of the Life Saving Service. Our dealer hadn't ordered the set, so she phoned HL while I was there. She was able to place an order for #'s 110 and 111 only. She could not get a matching numbered set for her higher autoship which is around 1800 or so.

Picked up my point allerton and sequin this noon They are both great on detail and the boat, with hauler and lyle gun cart.when I first opened it it looked like a doit yourself kit with all the seperate pieces. It is great and today it joined my other two LSS along with the wig wag man and the cloth flag.Harbour lights is really improving with age like a fine wine.Bill O'Brien oseabee

Pt. Allerton is very nice...wasn't going to buy it but now glad I did...nice detail inside garage walls...be sure to display this one on a low shelf if you plan to leave the carts parked on the ramps...their tires are bald and they slide off very easily!

Point Allerton arrived at my home early this evening via UPS. I must say I'm impressed! Part of my enthusiasm is caused by the fact I visited Point Allerton two years ago. It's about a 40-45 minute ride from my house.

I guess I'll have to go visit it again and compare my HL 635 to the "real thing". It may not be a lighthouse but it still is a great HL!

We picked up Pt Allerton and Seguin tonight. They make a great addition to our collection. Pt Allerton is a neat piece when you add in the small pieces and the Wig Wag Man. Can't wait for Marshall Point to get here as we have visited that one in the past.

Both Sequin and Pt. Allerton were waiting for me after my return from out-of-town on the 7th. They are truly wonderful pieces and have great detail. Once again, HL has done a remarkable job!

I saw but did not buy Pt. Allerton today. It's ok but I am still trying to decide whether or not to purchase it. The extra men were also on display with numbers matching the LSS, in the 500's. They are huge compared to the LSS and, imo, would look a bit odd displayed too close to the piece. They don't appear to be made of the same material as the LH's. Do we know just what they are composed of?
