Congrats Bill. Keep the reviews coming.

As with Joanne, don't forget the ritualistic swearing in ceremony starts at 7:00. Make sure you wear your new rotating beacon hat, and don't forget your sacrificial Navesink sculpture (or South Bass Island, in your case. LOL)!

Congrates Bill, they always say the right person for the right Job, and I believe you are the right person for this Job. But please don't let these extra duties, affect your main job as Master reviewer and granter of the "Trade Marked" WOW, awards.

Bill, have you ever thought about sneaking over to another dealer who doesn't shut down for the winter just to get a first-hand peek at the newsest ones?

Re: New Cruise Director of this Forum! - 02/01/00 07:18 AM

Congratulations, Bill. Did you remember to ask if you get a comp of each new piece so you can do a timely full review and properly moderate your assigned forum???

Re: New Cruise Director of this Forum! - 02/01/00 03:04 PM

Thanks, Dave. I didn't want to be the one to broach the subject, but now that you've broken the ice...

Dear Mr. Younger,

Dave says I should have a comp of each new piece so that I might be able to review them in a timely manner. He is a very knowledgable man and you should listen to him. Do you do FedEx?

Sincerely, Blah blah blah and so on and so forth.

If that doesn't work, I'll just have to keep an eye on my non-seasonal dealers, most of which are not on autoship (and those that are tend to send 'em out right away).

But please...while I'm in limbo, please let us know what YOU think of the latest models. Has anybody actually touched Round Island or Oak Island yet?

Re: New Cruise Director of this Forum! - 02/01/00 04:02 PM

I didn't know there was a Limbo, Maine.

So Bill, you forgot to warn Joanne about the double top secret handshake and that if it isn't done just right...... By the way are there any lighthouses in limbo?

Bill,

Let me know how you make out with the comp pieces. As the Cruise Director of The Secondary Market Forum, I am *VERY* interested in the outcome. LOL

Hey, I missed the lesson on the handshake. Do I have to watch some of the Three Stooges films to determine which one it is? I like oone hand waving behind the head and the other under the chin before the handshake. But don't expect me to do this at the reunion in front of people! LOL

Congratulations Bill. You're a perfect fit here. Got your white linen uniform and Navy-style hat on? No? Well, if you're gonna' be Cruise Director you need to dress the part.
