Chrysler Crossfire... - 01/23/08 11:17 PM
I'm getting the itch to purchase another "toy". I imagine many people experience similar urges in the middle of winter.
I'm considering selling my 1990 Corvette and updating to a newer toy. I was surfing through the inventories of some area car dealers when I spotted a 2004 Chrysler Crossfire.
The Crossfire is a rather unique shaped two-seater vehicle. I've been told it is basically a small Mercedes SLK. Daimler Chrysler offered this vehicle at too high of a retail price and they didn't sell. Now they can be purchased for a very reasonable price.
I haven't tried one out yet but I did call my favorite dealer and told me to come up and take one for a few days and see what I think. He told me the car is small but there is sufficient leg room in it.
Do any of you own a Chrysler Crossfire, or know someone who does? I would be curious to see what other people think of the car. Let me know if they have a coupe or convertible, and if they have the 6-speed manual transmssion or the 5-speed automatic. I would actually prefer the manual transmission.
Thanks for the read.
