Jim,

I reviewed my spreadsheet and I'm missing the same ones that you are. Sorry.

If they were to be found, you know that JC found them during all his research. Unfortunately, a lot of information was lost during the big computer crash a while back, so there is some data which we will never have. I know, I know. We all want numbers for everything. Some, we will never get. frown

Paul,

I think HL 535 is the Boca Grande Ornament. HL 537 is Hatteras Beacon. Which one had a production of 16006 the ornament or Hatteras Beacon ?

Will the Collector's Guide have the edition size for all the replicas?

More than ever published before, Judy. But that computer crash form a few years ago was more severe than HL let on at the time. They lost many order records and didn't try to reconstruct them after the crash.

In some cases, I've asked the principles to make educated guesses on quantities -- such as the Guardians. No reorders were done of those and they believe the 'minimum order' from the factory was 1,200.

I've even asked HL to go back to the factory to ask them to reconstruct ordering quantities -- but many of the missing ones were done by a factory they no longer use.

Wish I could be more positive about filling in those missing blanks, but it's not to be.

Why don't we start a post about the highest number you have of the ones that we are missing the production numbers for? At least we would have a minumum number produced. For example Lighthouse A, we get responces and the highest number is 9,431, then we know that at least 9,431 were made, perhaps more. And at that point the person could take a picture of the tag to verify for the unofficial records.

I like that idea but from experience, I have learned that is not enough. I bet most of the people on this forum has low numbers.
Yes; a post should be started but also,
the thing would be for someone to follow ebay and right the numbers down.

Several of the pieces are in-store or regional event pieces and won't be numbered.

I forgot about the unnumbered pieces. I suppose if the prices are low on ebay, there are a bunch and the figure doesn't mean as much (or those pieces are not popular).

Well, at least the information on edition size we will have in the Collector's Guide will be a lot better than anything we have now.
Thanks,
Judy
