Life Saving Stations by Harbour Lights - 02/20/06 06:40 PM

Besides the three Life Saving Station pieces, I know of at least one other Harbour Lights that includes a Life Saving Station on the base.

Which one is that?

Does anyone know of any others?

Which are the three LSS Sculptures?

Thanks all.

Point Judith was the one that I could think of.

Jim has the Point Judith and Sullivan's Island. Are there any others?

Judy has the three LSS correct.

Oak Island has the 'look' of a LSS, but it was built in 1992.(This building was damaged by fire a few years back. Anybody been there since?)

Here\'s a link to a story from 2003 that says the building was 10 years old when it burned in 2002.

Sullivan's Island (Charleston) is a LSS. Kind of balances the 'old' with the 'new' on that piece.

Always think of the motto of the Life Saving Service when I think about the men "You have to go out but you do not have to come back."

YES!! I've been there several times, and had a grand tour last spring of the newly constructed facility both inside and out.
