Coquille variations.

I thought it would be interesting to hear about Variations again. Rich is trying to get the California mold variation and I thought I would post some of what I know about it.

There are two basic variations for the Coquille River.
The California mold which can be identified by a three panel door and then there is the Canadian mold which has the four panel door. All the Coquille have the green felt except for the California Artist proof which has the gray felt.

There is also another variation which is the California mold that was painted and boxed in Canadia that has the three panel door but the window frame in the lighthouse (Lantern Room) is green. These would have originally come in a brown box with Castle Studious written on it. Its numbers would have been around 100 to 300.

The most common variation is the Canadian version (4-panel) with the cream colored lighthouse Lantern Room window frame and it comes in a white Castle Studious box. The production number would start around 300 and 1138 being the last.

Daniel - You had me confused about the window frames being either Green or Cream in the lighthouse. I now know you were talking about the "Lantern Room" window frames and not the rest of the window frames.

I added Lantern Room to make it read more clearly.
