St. Joseph North Pier & Chicago Harbor

I was fortunate to spend a few days around southern Lake Michigan last month. It's a nice little town, but I especially enjoyed the time at the lighthouse.

I made a return trip to St. Joseph North Pier the day after the first set of pictures.

I was trying to get there in time for sunset. I barely missed that, but got an unexpected treat with the rough surf.

Fabulous pics, Lou! Great composition! The surf hitting the pier/breakwater is extremely interesting.

Maybe you should nominate the Chicago Harbor Southeast Light as a possibility for the 2nd CF Exclusive. Although it is a simplistic light in design, the green coloring sets it off from other similar lights.

How lucky you were...I've been trying for rough surf shots. Never been lucky enough to get anything that rough as yet.
