Sheffield Island Trip

Sheffield Island Trip - 08/16/03 09:54 PM

Took the first boat out to the Sheffield Island Lighthouse in Norwalk this morning. I met up with NELL friends from New Hampshire for this outing. The weather was a bit humid and overcast so it was more of a b&w photo day. The butterflies were out in large numbers on the flowers near the lighthouse. Several horseshoe crab shells were scattered about the island as well. Here are a few shots.

Shirin,

I enjoyed your photos. The black and white photos are nice. I have lots of butterflies in my yard now. However, they never seem to stay in one place long enough for me to take a picture.

Keep on sharing.
