A Lens in 2007?

Heard it by the grapevine...
Nancy told me last weekend that there is a lens in the line-up for 2007.

Wonder what it will be? Anyone heard any rumors about this?

The Navesink 1st Order Bivalve would be nice.

Sure hope you're right--missed this year and I, for one, was very disappointed.

Any thoughts on why a 1st order hasn't been done?
They've done additional versions of already-done ones, but no 1st order. Curious. . . .

Thanks, and just to put things in perspective, the glass panes in the mock lens room are about four feet tall. That lens is almost 12 feet in diameter.

I was absolutely awestruck by this lens. I stood there watching it rotate for over a half-hour. Then, after I toured the Navesink lighthouse and museum, I came back for another look.

Romuor has it that things are looking very good for a lens in 2007.

From Jim Awrey, Jim, any more information in that rumor? Like, will it be included in the first or the second half of the year?

And the big one...which lens will it be?? And since you've heard the rumor as a dealer, I'm wondering if the lens is one from the Cape. Oh, could it be...?
