Darn I was hoping it was the item from Toledo.

I saw a photo of this item last year while visiting Bill and Nancy. I really hoped that they had found a way to get it out.

The news is becoming more exciting as each day goes by and hopefully within the next month everyone will be talking about it. It has been a long time coming!

I think i know what it is. if It is something we talked about last year, I cant wait till it is a reality. If it is what I think it is , it will surprise about everyone.

I'm sworn to silence, but it will be a surprise to everyone.

Hmm, I would like a gathering of some kind. I have been REALLY out of the loop, but trying to get back in as I anticipate retiring in May 2016. I've tried retiring two times before, but those didn't "take." I really am going to do it this next time. I've already got Maine on my calendar as well as Puget Sound and Outer Banks. So I am waiting for this "NEWS" and see how it fits into my bucket list. Looking forward to the news.

Two pieces with membership, plus the option to buy four other pieces over the course of the membership year.

The six pieces will be from all regions evenly.

Perhaps "Once Upon a Time Harbour Lights, Inc." will final release my Winter Harbor, ME (Mark Island) lighthouse that I have been requesting for over 10 years!

I wouldn't put any bets on that unless you have money to gamble with, but, hopefully by the end of this month the suspense will be over

I hope whatever it is it lives up to all this build up!

I strongly feel it will excite a lot of people and of course there are others that could care less at this time in their life.

Shouldn't be too much longer now as it appears the news may be for publication by the end of July!

I'm still not at liberty to reveal the exciting news as it is taking longer to wrap up the details then originally thought. It shouldn't be too much longer (I hope) but it will be worth waiting for I assure you.

I think I may have an inkling but the cat in the bag has no claws and the rope on top is sealed tight!

The first alert for this impending BIG NEWS was April 20th. Five months ago.

I know that it has been 5 months ago that I made the above statement, but, at the time I made the above statement the BIG NEWS was supposed to happen by the middle to end of July.

As life isn't perfect, the BIG NEWS obviously didn't happen when it was supposed to. However, as of today the BIG NEWS announcement should come around Thanksgiving time. There have been unforeseen delays that no one could have predicted, but, I ASSURE YOU THAT THE NEWS IS WELL WORTH WAITING FOR and you can take that to the bank.

Well, that post resets the clock for our expectations.

Let me ask this. If one no longer has much interest in adding to a collection of Harbour Lights pieces, is the news still well worth waiting for?

Probably not since Harbour Lights is no longer in business and will probably never be resurrected. Other then that you might want to stay around and see what happens.

So what was the BIG news?? It has now been a year since this was last teased.

Have you been out of the country?? The big news is Harry Hine has started his own line of lighthouses with the first piece being Jones Point, VA and the second piece that will be coming in December. This piece will be Rock Island, NY and be a Christmas Piece.

That is great news! I haven't checked in here in awhile. I saw this thread right away and read it hoping there was a reveal at the end. And then nothing! I did not see the news until you just mentioned it. Thanks for the update. Will check it out further now.

If interested in getting a Rock Island, don't wait for the announcement because people that have already bought Jones Point have first dibs on Rock Island and will get the same serial number they got when they bought Jones Point. You can still buy a Jones Point so you can be assured of getting Rock Island, but, there are less than 20 Jones Points pieces left.
