Reunion to be Announced in Next Legacy - 07/20/00 02:06 PM

Bill Younger said in the last chat that the specifics on the 2001 Reunion will be announced in the next HL Legacy which will come out 3 months after the current one was released. (I wasn't there but read the chat log!) Mrs. Chidester's copy of the last Legacy arrived June 12th, so we should have the first sightings around September 12th.

I'd be willing to venture a guess that we have a real good idea of where the reunion will be sometime before mid-September. Someone will 'scoop' the news for us.

I guess us folks on the East Coast will have to read about it here. Our Legacys usually arrive much later than the rest of the country.

I'm extremely happy that information will finally be released on Reunion 2001.

No new posts for over two weeks in this thread. Doesn't anybody have any "inside" info on possibilities?

Hey Torchbearer, I'm with you! Baltimore in the fall during crab season would be great. Cover the table with brown paper, dump a bushel, and hand me the mallet!

I'll be at the table with Bob and Tim. You haven't lived until you've experienced a good old Maryland Crab Feast. It beats a fish fry any time!

It sounds like whether HL picks Baltimore or not it seems to me that we need to have a crab feast of sorts. All this certainly has me looking forward to breaking out he Old Bay.

If not a HL Reunion, maybe a Wacko Reunion in the making here! I know some great places in and around Baltimore for some great Jimmies! Plenty of Old Bay (the best) or Wye River Seasoning and steamed with beer! YUM!!!

Should be just a few more days before we have the details. It's been a long wait.

Wouldn't a reunion on a cruise be a novel idea! It would be great for families, singles, couples, everyone.

Let's rent an ore carrier. I've been hoping for the Reunion Cruise for a couple years now, but no takers yet. From Split Rock to Sunken Rock - the Great Lakes Tour.

One of the few remaining Liberty Ships operates out of Baltimore. I know they have done cruises of the Chesapeake Bay, including a Swing Band and even a flyover of WWII aircraft. You can read more about this at http://www.liberty-ship.com/
