Good Thursday Morning!

I am finishing up the Product History, next week!

We will publish by mid-March! There will be several new catagories; including Limited Edition Little Lights and Thumbnails.

AJC
Maybe he meant mid-March, 2011????

This is a quote from Tony from the March 2010 Legacy.

(I put the last sentence in bold)

"Harbour Light updates Product History
In 2009, Harbour Lights announced the
retirement of more than (25) limited edition
replicas plus more than (50+) GLOWS were
suspended from production!
Harbour Lights will publish a new product
history to account not only for these
retirements and suspensions but also to add
several new categories such as Thumbnails,
Limited Edition, This Little Light of Mine.
We expect publication by mid-April."

Good Thursday Morning!

I have almost completed the Product History - I have been working on several other projects!
Watch your eMail for a "Special Edition' of The Lighthouse Legacy in the next week! Read some of the mischief Harry and I have been up to!

I apologize for being late on the History!

All good things come in time. Rather it be complete and a little late then on time and lacking.

AJC, I haven't seen a "Special Edition" of Lighthouse Legacy, as yet. Your "mischief" hasn't gotten you into trouble, has it? I am sure everyone is waiting for the Product History arrival. I know I am!! The Collector's Society gift piece and exclusive announcement should be any day now?? And the Summer 2010 offerings should be soon, too??

In another thread Tony posted that it would be a couple of weeks on the Special Edition of the Legacy as there were a couple of other things in line ahead of him in their publications dept.(my name for it not his). I think the Society piece and gift piece announcement will be at that time, also..

What the ?

Two months and 6 days since last reported that the updated history was almost complete. Are we almost ready for publication?

Now that the second half of 2010 releases have been announced and the society membership year has begun, perhaps the product history will be coming along SOON. Of course, the Summer time is when people take vacations......

I'm sure it will arrive one of the days (or months).

I want to second Tony's thanks to Sue, as she gave up 8 hours one day to go item by item with me over the product list. Tony and I are trying as much as possible to make the list as correct as possible, he and I have worked several other times updating and correcting things before Sue and I proofed the complete list.

Since Tony has mentioned us, I would like to thank him for all of the time and effort he and others at Harbour Lights have already put into this product list update. Once it is done it will be a lot easier to keep updated...

A greatful THANK YOU! to all of you who have taken time to work on this Product History--Tony, HL staff, and especially Paul and Sue Brady. As with most of my projects, estimating how long or when it will be done is more of a hopeful goal (or shot in the dark) and is usually short of the time I needed. Things arise that always take more time and effort than you could have possibly predicted.

Encouraging to see that you're striving to make it as accurate and up to date as humanly possible. Your time and effort are very appreciated!!

At least we know that progress is being made and eventually we will have a quality report.

Re: WHERE, OH WHERE IS THE PRODUCT HISTORY?? - 07/04/10 05:52 PM

I've noticed over the past several years that there hasn't been a product's history for Waugoshance Lighthouse, Michigan.

If you need any help with this information please let me know, I would be willing to help!

Dave, the Product History being referred to in this thread isn't the individual lighthouse histories but the overall Harbour Lights Product List as it were..

If you are talking about the missing history on the Waugoshance page at Harbour Lights website, I am sorry to say that since John Chidester is no longer the Web Master for the Harbour Lights website that it probably won't be updated.

There is product history for the HL690 Waugoshance, MI lighthouse in the Collector's Guide on page 337..
