To register or not to register, that is the question.

NOTE: This IS NOT about registering at this site. You *must* do that, or Bob will kill me. Motivation enough, I know. But register anyway.

In another thread Jake Toering
asked the question (I paraphrase):

Who registers their Harbour Lights purchases, and who does not? Why or why not? What are the pluses and minuses?

I thought this topic might deserve a thread of its own, so I started one. Your ball.

Here's a link to the on-line registration form:

www.HarbourLights.com/forms/collection.htm

You can register by attaching an Excel spreadsheet, printing & faxing the filled in form, or Submitting the form.

Have been registering all our lighthouses. Our dealer did it at first. Have been registering online ever since HL got an email address. Love the new registration form since we keep a log of all our lighthouses in Excel. Only problem is that HL couldn't open the attachment and had to fax it this last time.

Have been registering lighthouses as they accumulate.Just a record that someone else has that I own and have registered these pieces. You never know when you might have deal with an insurance company over your collection.Better safe than sorry.
